Most netizens would have heard by now how a disturbed teenage girl was taunted by a woman who was masquerading as her online MySpace beau. The victim was heart broken and promptly hung herself after being ditched by her fake boyfriend who was actually her ex-friend's mother in disguise. This malicious act caused an uproar in the World Wide Web as well as in the real world. Parents are now taking initiatives to be more informed about their children's Internet surfing habits and are encouraging them to be more open to discussion pertaining to the "birds and the bees" to avoid untoward incidences.
