What are the similarities between MySpace and Macy's? MySpace is a famous networking site in the World Wide Web. Macy's is a famous departmental site in the real world. Oh, and both were used by scammers to gain a vast amount of information by sending illegal, unsolicited messages. Users were sent links that enticed them to click in order to obtain a $500 gift voucher redeemable at Macy's. Of course, Macy's have denied this and by the time authorities realized this, thousands upon thousands of profiles have been intruded upon and details were reaped to use in credit card frauds.
