Receiving tons of MySpace messages from both your contacts and total strangers alike is commonplace once you login to this social networking site. However, some scammers in the World Wide Web have taken to devising ways to trick innocent users. They do this by sending messages disguising themselves as the user's friend.

The message inside contains a link that will redirect you to another a spoof site which can prove to be a waste of your precious time. If you want to avoid clicking needlessly on these links, why not scrutinize the URLs and see if you can spot a scam link? For example, if the link contains a .cn domain, obviously this isn’t a MySpace profile but a rogue link from a China-based site!
